How to publish a Claude Code project online

Last updated: October 12, 2026

If you work in Claude Code, add Pagel as an MCP server and Claude publishes your site's folder with one message. It's for static sites: HTML, or frameworks exported as static.

Step by step

  1. 1Add the server

    In your terminal:

    Copy
claude mcp add --transport http pagel https://mcp.pagel.app
  2. 2Sign in

Type /mcp in Claude Code, choose pagel and authorize in the browser.

  3. 3Export your site as static

In Next.js use output: 'export' (out folder). In Astro or Vite, the dist folder.

  4. 4Ask to publish

Claude sends only the files that changed:

    Ask the AI
Build the site and publish the out folder with Pagel as my-project.

Ask it like this

Ask the AI
Publish only this branch's changes.
Ask the AI
Compare what's live with my local files.

If something goes wrong

My app uses server functions

Pagel publishes static sites. Server routes or databases need another service.

The site exceeds the limit

Per publish: 2,000 files, 20 MB per file and 50 MB total.

Tips

  • With solo_cambios, Claude updates only the modified files.
